For
all bottom peeling jobs, we use Gel Plane Professional Gelcoat Peeler,
the best machine available for this job.
Traditionally,
in repairing a blistered hull, the bottoms are stripped of gel coat
when the boat comes out of the water after the summer season
The
exposed hull is then left to breathe and dry out over the winter.
In
the spring, all repairs are completed and the hull is coated with
thick layers of epoxy barrier coat and bottom paint.
